September is already more than halfway over! |

Volume 6, Number 7
September 21, 2023
Greetings Burnt Oranges community,
For those of you who went to Raining Man to frolic on the WAP, welcome back! Hats off to the folks who made mud sculptures that gave Florida beach sculpting a run for its money. For those of us who didn’t go, we still have some items to report: We survived Hurricane Idalia, mourned the news that Publix is no longer selling hurricane cakes, and enjoyed at least two mornings when the humidity dropped to the point that it whispers: Autumn is in the air.
It’s still hot as all get out, though, and we need more rain, so get to work petitioning any deities you have a direct line to.
Aight, enough small talk about the weather. Here’s what you’ll find in this newsletter.

Ticket Transfers and Resales
Tier 2 tickets for AfterBurn 2023 are almost sold out! You can purchase your tickets here.
Also, a change: In the event you need to resell your ticket to AfterBurn 2023, note that that tickets do not have to be in the name of the ticket holder. The ticket holder just needs to have the ticket saved to their phone for gate to scan and a proper ID.
Code of Conduct
Anyone coming to AfterBurn 2023 needs to review our Code of Conduct before arriving at the gate. Contact the Board before or after the event if you have any questions or concerns. Once onsite, contact a Ranger immediately if you have concerns or need assistance with an incident. The Ranger and Ranger Coordinator will write-up an incident report. If immediate removal is required for the safety of the event, Rangers will escalate the matter to the Board. The Board takes the Code of Conduct very seriously, as well as all reports of violations.
Sign Your Waiver Now
Complete your waiver here for AfterBurn 2023. It’s easy-peasy, we promise. Do it before you arrive. Don’t wait until you arrive at the gate as you will be taken out of line to complete it, which will delay getting you into the event — and that’s no fun.
Volunteer Signups
If you have purchased a ticket for more than just yourself in your name, please let the volunteer coordinator know their first and last name and email address. Email us here. We are implementing a proactive process to reach out to all ticket holders to help fill volunteer shifts now.
Oh, and volunteer signups are still open here. No burn can happen without volunteering, so figure out where your giving magic is and get your name on the list. We appreciate all you bring to the table.
Who What Where Guide Submissions
