Volume 6, Number 4
July 5, 2023

Greetings Burnt Oranges community!
It’s hot — really, really hot. In fact, we had record-breaking temperatures yesterday not only in Florida, but also around the world. That’s right, July 4, 2023 was the hottest day in recorded history so we hope you spent it in the A/C or in the pool enjoying fizzy water and the company of loved ones. Rest, go slow, hydrate, and take care of yourselves. Then enjoy our super cool update.

Right on, here’s what you’ll find in this newsletter.

Tickets, Tickets, Tickets — and More!
Our big announcement today is that tickets for Florida AfterBurn 2023 go on sale Friday, July 7, 2023 at 12PM ET. Art grant applications, theme camp registration, volunteer shifts, and cabin registration are all going to open at this time as well. Buy tickets here and toggle to the appropriate section of our website here to get your ducks in a row. As always, email me if you have any questions and I’ll get back to you once I am hydrated and ready to rock and roll.

Thank You For Your Submissions
We’re happy to report that amazing artists have already stepped up and are submitting burnable art applications. That said, keep the applications coming here! Our effigy and temple provide catharsis to so many in our community, and we’re so grateful you want to be a part of that. Again, email me if you have any questions.

Thanks for reading… and for making art, supporting art, and being a part of our community! Feel free to send me any updates.

How ’bout that?
