HEY, FAM!
We love this time of year, when the regional burn we know and love is on the horizon. It’s the same way we felt about summer camp when we were kids, when we got the chance to be away from home in nature with a bunch of our friends.
Camp La Llanada is a special place that invokes that nostalgia, or that allows you to experience it for yourself if that wasn’t a part of your childhood. In any case, your MO at AfterBurn 2022 is to have fun and rediscover what play means to you as a grown-up. With Martians. At a disco.

COVID-19 Policy
Our COVID-19 policy has been updated on our website here — scroll down on the landing page and you will see it. Kindly review it before attending AfterBurn 2022. Email me at if you have any questions.
Waivers
We are going paperless with waivers this year. This means they are electronic and available for you to review and sign prior to arriving at gate. In fact, we really, really want you to get this taken care of prior to getting here. If you did not complete your waiver after printing your tickets, please go to WaiverForever ASAP, before Monday, October 31, 2022.
Early Entry
Absolutely do not show-up before 12 PM on Thursday, November 3 without prior approval. Note that for theme camps and volunteers with shifts on Thursday or Friday morning, no further action is required of you.
Gate Hours
What is the earliest I can arrive?
Gate Hours:
Thursday November 3rd, 2022 – Early Entry only – Open 12 PM to 10 PM with pre-approval only. Early entry will be available only to those participants with prior approval for access; your name MUST BE on the list at gate.
Friday, November 4th, 2022 – Open: 8 AM – 11:59 PM.
Saturday, November 5th, 2022 – Open: 9 AM – 7 PM; Mobile gate opens 3 PM – 7 PM; all gates close at 7 PM for “campfire.” ABSOLUTELY NO ENTRY after 7PM. NO Movement of any vehicles until AFTER effigy ignition, then Exodus only.
Sunday, November 6th, 2022 – Exodus/Exit ONLY
Monday, November 7th, 2022 – Exodus/Exit ONLY; ALL PARTICIPANTS must be off-site by 12 PM (NOON)
NO RE-ENTRY AT ANY TIME! IF YOU LEAVE THE EVENT YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BACK THROUGH THE GATE!
NO SPECTATORS!
Ticket Assistance
Ticket Assistance is open until Friday, October 21st at 11:55 PM. Issued ticket assistance tickets must be paid no later than Monday, October 24th at 11:59 PM. Apply here.
Standard Ticket Update
Tier 1 tickets closed on October 17 and Tier 2 opened on October 18. Don’t snooze. Get your tickets. Reserved member and core tickets must be paid no later than Monday, October 24th at 11:59 PM.
Ice Pogs
Those of you who purchased ice pogs along with your tickets can pick up ice in front of the volunteer lounge on Saturday and Sunday only.
