Cabin Rentals at Camp La Llanada? Yes, Really!

Applications for cabin rentals at Camp La Llanada are live for Pre-Heat 2022. Yes, really! Get all the details on the website and complete the registration form to secure your cabin for your theme camp or group:

Car Camping

Want to camp in your car at Pre-Heat 2022? Here are the deets:
Car campers will need to purchase an RV Pass. Additionally, you must decorate your car so as not to resemble a boring old vehicle (if you’re not camping in the RV lot). Your theme camp leader will need to indicate on the theme camp registration that you will be a car camper, too. Note: As with RVs, car camping cannot be guaranteed placement with theme camps within the event space. Still, best efforts will be made to place RVs and car campers with their registered theme camp. If you are not with a theme camp or there is no room to place you with your theme camp, then you will be placed in the RV Lot. Get your RV pass here:

Register Your Theme Camp

Oh yes, and art grant applications are awaiting your perfect application! That’s right, we have money and we want to give it to you to make art. What’s better than that? To apply, submit your desire to participate here:

Awesome New Area at Camp La Llanada Available

Camp La Llanada has a new bar on the lake, and the space is available for you to use at PreHeat 2022! Look how cool this is!

Be sure to indicate your plans to use the bar when registering your theme camp

There’s also a sound cave, a Tiki hut, and an outdoor kitchen for your camp to utilize. Check out the map for more pics:

Remembering Peter Goetz

We are saddened by the passing of another phambly member, Peter Goetz. He was a longtime, cherished member of our phambly along with his wonderful wife, Sandra — and he was a fighter. In his own words: “And I’m not losing the fight. It will be a tie cause I’ll take the fucker with me.”  You never lost the fight, Peter and you indeed took the fucker with you. May you rest in power, and we hope you are enjoying all the kratom and catching all of the pokemon in the beyond.

Our love and comfort goes out to all who are feeling the loss of Peter. If you desire and are able to provide assistance to Sandra, a GoFundMe as been set up for her:

Thanks for reading… and for making art, supporting art, and being a part of our community! Feel free to send me any updates.

How ’bout that?
